David has over 30 years experience as a solo pianist playing at prestigious venues throughout Scotland and the North of England. For over 25 years, he has been a resident pianist at the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire.
In recent years, David has specialised in providing music for weddings, creating the perfect ambiance for formal ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding meals. He works with couples to ensure that their special day includes the music of their choice, making the day more personal and memorable.
David has a large repertoire of songs, and can help you pick the right kind of music for each part of the day. Perhaps a special romantic song for the bridal entrance; more up-beat party music for the drinks reception; and relaxing background music for during the evening meal.
Based in the Scottish Borders, David plays throughout central Scotland and north-east England. He will provide a state-of-the-art stage piano, with appropriate amplification, if your venue does not have its own piano.
David prides himself on providing a friendly and completely reliable service, and always takes time to understand what couples want from the music for their wedding day.
