Biography

Hi, I'm Elliot. I'm a wedding photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I shoot weddings, elopements and destination weddings for my fun-loving couples.

I will document your day with artistry and truth: The laughter, the love, the emotion and everything in-between.

I love to capture the raw, unfiltered, real side of people. The goosebumps, the loud and quiet, the inside jokes, the gut busting laughs, you know, the real stuff.

Anyone can create some awkward, fake, untrue version of who you are but I want to go much deeper than that.

After-all, great wedding photography isn't just about fancy camera techniques… It's about making you feel comfortable and fostering an environment where you can be your true authentic selves.

If you are looking for someone who is all about capturing the unique, perfectly imperfect things that make you you, then I think we might just be the perfect fit.

About me.

I’m a laid back thirty-six-year-old, creative, wannabe surfer, who swapped his career in banking for a life of photographing people in love. I have a happy-go-lucky, playful personality and I wear my heart on my sleeve.

I have a degree in BA Press & Editorial Photography. I'm also an absolute workaholic. If I'm not shooting a wedding, I'm working on a new edit; talking to clients; experimenting with creative photography techniques, designing a wedding album or working on the business in some form. I absolutely love what I do!

My popular ‘Sika’ package includes a complimentary consultation, a full-day of photography, drone shots, digital photographs, a beautiful online gallery, a sneak peek within 48 hours and a fine-art print.

Our ‘Essential videography’ option includes a specialist videographer, a highlight video and a full recording of your ceremony and speeches with studio quality sound availible when you take any of our photography packages.

We also offer elopement photography, bespoke wedding albums, fine art prints, adventure sessions, pre-wedding shoots, engagement photography and bucket loads of free advice.

I would give Elliot 10 stars if I could, he blew us away. From the moment I emailed with my enquiry he was so professional and kind. We booked the package including an engagement shoot which was a blessing as it was such a comfort to know him before the wedding day and he could get to know us too. From then, he just understood the "vibe" we were going for on the day, and as we are as people.
On our wedding day, he was positive and encouraging which is sometimes needed with friends/family who are a little shy. Always replied to any questions in a timely manner and always friendly. We cant recommend Elliot enough, We went for his 10 hour Photography and 8 hour Video Package. We wanted to steer away from too many of the old fashioned traditional photographs and asked him to capture more authentic candid shots and thats exactly what he did, he captured the day brilliantly. Its so wonderful to see the joy on everyones faces from that day. and all the fun that was had Our wedding video is also amazing (we've already watched it 100 times!! ) We'd definitely recommend Elliot and his team to be part of your day. We hired Elliot to photograph our whole wedding at the start of July. From the beginning, communication was easy and professional. When the day came he made himself known, but also blended in to the background perfectly. We LOVE his style of photography and now we have all our photos back we are over the moon!

Elliot used a range of different equipment and gave lots of ideas to us both, who are not natural in front of the camera at all. Drone, sparklers and smoke grenades were some of the awsome things, used to get amazing shots.

We also had a small video of the ceremony and a post wedding shoot as part of our package. For this we hiked to the top of a small mountain in the Trossachs where we got to know Elliot more. I'm so glad we booked him, top guy, very professional and VERY talented.

Elliot is fantastic - he is very enthusiastic and friendly, so we did not feel nervous when he was around. All the guests love his photos and him. We were not sure about the pre-wedding shooting but highly recommend to do it - it was a great opportunity to get to know each other and we could have more time together, personally I enjoyed it more than actual wedding shooting.
If you are not comfortable with being taken photos, he is the one you are looking for - he captures natural moments without making you feel awkward. His professionalism and the amount of energy and heart he puts in his work is unrivalled. Yuka & Michael
